More about Jack Wesson

In 1995 Jack entered into the real estate business exclusively as a buyer's broker when the concept was relatively new. His motivation originated from his experience in architecture and development. "Much of being an architect entails understanding your client's (housing) dreams in detail. A good architect has both vision and technical knowledge as well as an understanding of the market. Whether renovating historic structures or building dream houses from the ground up, it is imperative to provide one's clients with practical solutions for financial and emotional decisions encountered in that process."

As managing broker and owner, Jack has guided the growth of the company over the last decade from a firm of two to twenty. The merger of Jack's original company, San Juan Properties, with Telluride Realty occurred in 2004 and set the stage for an even more capable company with multiple locations, lasting agents, and sophisticated marketing strategies.

Jack is joined by his wife, Emily, in the management of the family businesses; real estate, architecture, and development. Jack's priorities lie not only with his work but also more importantly with his family, including three daughters. In his spare time Jack volunteers and enjoys life in Telluride. Jack has participated in over a decade of public service, including positions on town and county boards, as well as provided pro bono architecture and real estate services for local non-profit organizations.
